History

Boasting 14 years experience in France and 12 years in Canada, D`ARBRE en ARBRE Concept and D`ARBRE en ARBRE Canada Inc have gained valuable technical know-how and a team of qualified experts.

The aerial adventure course is a much evolved and much more fun version of a military training obstacle courses. These suspended tree to tree courses were adapted for the general public as a forest activity by D`Arbre en Arbre Concept in France in 1999. The first leisure oriented circuit opened in 2000.
Since then, forest adventure courses have known increasing popularity as people seek newer and more thrilling outdoor sports.

Protecting the Environment

We take special care to customize each course to blend with its natural setting. We focus special consideration on the reduction of any environmental impact and maximizing tree longevity.

An innovative compression system safely secures platforms to trees without damaging them or infringing upon their continued growth and health. Our patented system has met with the approval of leading specialists as it allows sap to circulate freely. We protect the trunk from damage by using protective half logs and sheathed cables which reduce cuts and deformation due to anchor tension. No chemically treated wood is used. All walking trails are clearly marked and constructed to protect the forest floor and root systems.
